MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Peninsula Art League (PAL) membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older – artists and art appreciators alike. As a member, you are invited to attend our quarterly meetings, studio talks, workshops or join one of our special interest groups.
Our meetings and studio talks are free for members; our workshops are offered at a discount. Keep an eye out for our bi-monthly digital newsletter, the Palette, for info about PAL events, artist open calls, and other interesting things happening in the art world.
We produce two exhibitions a year to display our Members’ work on the Peninsula League Art Wall in the Peninsula Metropolitan Parks new Recreation Center and District Headquarters. There is a Members Show during the Summer Art Festival, as well as the Small Works show during the holiday season held in collaboration with Ebb Tide Gallery in Gig Harbor.
We host two signature events: The Summer Art Festival and the Open Juried Show. The annual Summer Art Festival is the third weekend in July at Sehmel Homestead Park, in partnership with Peninsula Metropolitan Parks, and the Open Juried Show scheduled in October and held at the Harbor History Museum on the waterfront in Gig Harbor.
