Bringing Community to the Artist and Art to the Community

Each year, PAL is proud to bring art to our community with a year-round calendar of local Art Exhibitions, offering art lovers and artists a continuous opportunity to share, discover, enjoy, and collect art.

Our gallery calendar features four seasonal Member Shows. The Spring, Fall, and our new Winter Signature Member Show rotate on the PAL Art Walls at the PenMet Recreation Center and District Headquarters. In July, the Summer Member Show moves to Sehmel Homestead Park; it anchors our annual Summer Art Festival, where visitors can enjoy the Member exhibition alongside over 100 regional community artist booths.

To round out the calendar, PAL hosts the prestigious National Fine Art Show in November and December at the Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum, featuring juried works from members and artists nationwide.

Whether you are a local art lover marking your calendar for the next rotation or an artist looking for your next opportunity to exhibit, PAL provides a vibrant, year-round connection to fine art.

Announcing the 2026 Spring Member Show Juror

Judith Perry

We are delighted to share that our juror for this show is renowned oil and watercolor artist and teacher, Judith Perry.

Judith is an award winning artist and a signature member of the Hawaii Watercolor Society and president of the Women Painters of Washington.

She prefers painting in a series of the same subject matter so there can be an in depth presentation. It is a method of pulling the viewer in for a deeper understanding.

After living many places from the east coast to Hawaii she is now living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

THE ART OF INTENTION

“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”  ~ Vincent Van Gogh

Our Spring Members’ Show celebrates the unique delights of “Small Works” – art that invites the viewer to pause, step closer, and linger to engage with the intimate details.  These pieces prove that artistic impact can come not only from scale, but from the detailed mastery of composition, color and intent.

Curated by esteemed artist Judith Perry, the show represents a collection that showcases technical excellence, creative risk-taking, and the diverse perspectives of our member community.  From the vibrant to the subtle, each piece has been chosen for its ability to resonate with the viewer and provide a lasting impact.

We hope these works inspire you to look a little closer at the world around you.  This exhibition is a testament to the talent within the Peninsular Art League.
