KTASTUDIO.COM

Kathryn Anderson is an artist and printmaker living in Tacoma. Classically trained in the visual arts, Kathryn studied at The Art Students League in Manhattan, N.Y., and was a Fine Arts Printmaking major at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. She sells her work internationally and is represented by galleries in Washington State. Her work focuses mainly on printmaking, specifically linocut and copper plate etching.

She is also drawn to other mediums that have their roots in ancient techniques such as Silverpoint drawing. This work is her passion as she believes there is a bit of magic in the reveal of every print that is made by hands, head, and heart.
