July 2, 2026(1 event) 10:00 am: Artist Group – Plein Air – The Plein Air group meets on Thursday mornings at 10am until about 1pm. Our Season starts in June and lasts through the end of September. Urban Sketchers joins us on the Second Thursday of each month. Many of us paint during the Gig Harbor Garden Tour and last year we were invited to paint at the Olalla Winery during the Lavendar Festival, both of which are weekend events. There are no lessons, just great fun and camaraderie. Everyone is welcome, beginners encouraged, so please come out and join us! July 18, 2026(3 events) OPEN! – Summer Member ShowJuly 18, 2026 The 2026 Summer Member Juried Show is open from July 18th – July 19th, 2026 as part of the Summer Art Festival. The Member Show is held in the Vern Pavilion at Sehmel Park. Reception is 5:00 to 6:30pm on Saturday. Vern Pavillion 10:00 am: 2026 40th Annual Summer Art Festival – Now in its 40th year, the Peninsula Art League Summer Art Festival is a well-established regional event that features over 100 juried Festival artists from across the West. The amazing array of art includes paintings and photography along with pottery, wood and metal art, garden art, jewelry, fiber art, glass and basketry. In addition to the juried booth artists, we are hosting a PAL Summer Member (Juried) Show in the Vern Pavillion. This show is for PAL members only and is juried separately from the booth artists.
