2026 Spring Member Show (Juried)
Peninsula Art League Art Wall at the Pen Met Rec Center
April 22, 2026 – June 22, 2026.
Announcing the 2026 Spring Member Show Juror
Judith Perry
We are delighted to share that our juror for this show is renowned oil and watercolor artist and teacher, Judith Perry.
Judith is an award winning artist and a signature member of the Hawaii Watercolor Society and president of the Women Painters of Washington.
She prefers painting in a series of the same subject matter so there can be an in depth presentation. It is a method of pulling the viewer in for a deeper understanding.
After living many places from the east coast to Hawaii she is now living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
PLEASE NOTE NEW DATES AND ART DETAILS
PenMet has advised us that they are unexpectedly having to do construction work in the District HQ building, and during this time we will not be able to exhibit there. As a result, the Spring Show will be held entirely on the PAL Art Wall at the Rec Center and can be for 2D art only.
To ensure our Juror can still curate a beautiful exhibition featuring as many members as possible, we have pivoted to a Small Works format. By restricting the size of framed pieces to 13” x 16” or smaller (11″ x14″ opening), our aim is to maximize acceptances and showcase a wide variety of our artists’ work.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this shift causes, particularly to our 3D artists and those working on a larger scale. We value your work and encourage you to look ahead to our Members Shows at the 40th Summer Art Festival and the 24th National Fine Art Show, where we will have the space to accommodate a wide variety of sizes and media.
