I first explored watercolor in 1998, but didn’t begin pursuing it seriously until about a decade ago. As a largely self-taught artist, I’ve been fortunate to learn from a variety of instructors over the past 28 years—in particular Julie Daleiden, whose guidance has been invaluable. My work most often features florals rendered realistically, complemented by abstract backgrounds. I also enjoy creating landscapes and portraits of both people and pets, and I’ve experimented with acrylics and pastels along the way.
