Sculpting stone is a practice that engages my entire being - body, mind, and spirit. It's a form of meditation, a dialogue between the stones and myself, and an experience of discovery. When I encounter a piece of stone, I think I've met a new friend, as if the stone itself is calling out to me, urging me to take notice and uncover the secrets it holds. The act of bringing these hidden forms to life is nothing short of magical, an exploration of wonder and transformation. Sculpting is a joyous, playful practice for me with endless possibilities.
