Art Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors

Every year, PAL awards thousands of dollars towards college scholarships for local high school seniors who are planning on a career in the arts.  Here are some of our previous award winners.

Gwendolyn Bean
Peninsula High School

Gwendolyn has been accepted to Brigham Young University and is planning to major in Graphic Design and Art Education. She hopes to be an elementary school art teacher one day.

Martin Coleman
Gig Harbor High School

Martin plans to go to Olympic College with a major in Visual Arts and is hoping to have a career as a 3D animator and artist.

Esme Douthit
Peninsula High School

Esme has been accepted to Central Washington University and plans to major in Art Studio with a career as an illustrator and comic artist.

Genoa King
Gig Harbor High School

Genoa will be attending Washington State University with a dual major in Art and Environmental Science.

Peyton O'Brien
Peninsula High School

Peyton plans to attend California State University with a major in Graphic and Interactive Design and marketing. She would eventually like to work for Disney.

Sophia Rodgers
Gig Harbor High School

Sophia is planning to attend the University of Washington where she wants to major in Media Arts, with a special interest in 3D animation and design. She is hoping to eventually develop a career in video game production.
