I am self taught artist. Who has been painting for over 25 years. As a child I enjoyed finger painting and scribbling. My husband gave me as a gift a watercolor class with William Hewson of Seattle in 2000 and I loved it. I enjoy creating paintings using a unique mixed media process, using abstracted realism as my subject matter. I draw my subject on watercolor paper using a black marker, then glue the paper to gallery wrapped canvas. After that I add tissue paper and clear mat medium to create a base for my watercolor paint. I seal the finished painting with acrylic medium.
