I create objects and art designed to add beauty to everyday moments and foster a sense of connection to nature.

I have always been a maker, learning by playing with mediums of all kinds. My current works are primarily in ceramic and cyanotype. With clay, I craft clean, minimal forms on the wheel and form more whimsical, organic shapes by hand. I layer glazes in colors inspired by my garden: soft greens, warm neutrals, and the occasional bright bloom. My pieces are meant to be well used and loved.

The role of nature is a bit more direct with my cyanotypes. I capture silhouettes of plants using sunlight and chemical magic, like taking a photograph without a camera.

I hope that my work might play an inspirational role in others' lives, encouraging them to stop and appreciate small moments of beauty.
